I have just finished watching the second episode of the new season of Doctor Who. This show just keeps getting better and better each season. The first two episodes so far were beyond crazy!
In the first episode the Doctor invites Amy, Rory, and River Song to a picnic. Moments later a spaceman shows up from the water and shoots the Doctor, as he's about to regenerate the spaceman shoots him again preventing him from regenerating and therefore killing the Doctor. After burning his body and mourning his death they end up meeting up with the Doctor just to realize that the one that had died is the version 200 years from his future.
They travel to the year 1969, the year of the first moon landing. A new alien has been introduced into the series, The Silents. These aliens have been all around us since "the wheel and fire". They use a form of hypnosis where if you see them as soon as you look away you completely forget they were there. What ever they tell you to do, the moment you look away you do as told and don't even realize it. They have been controlling humanity all those years.
In the second episode the Doctor used the Silents own hypnosis against them so that when ever a human encounters them they would kill them on sight. At the very end they showed the spaceman which turned out to be a little girl in an exoskeleton. The little girl began regeneration just like a timelord would do.... And that's how the episode ended.
This season has only began and it's crazy and exciting as hell! I can't wait to see the rest of the episodes! :D
