Cheer Up, Emo Kid is an awesome webcomic about life, love, and loss. The plot is based on the authors real life experience but exagerated to great proportions just to give us all a good laugh. If you get far enough in the series you'll run into a hilarious flash movie and a fun and funny flash fighting game.
At the moment, it seems as thou Cheer Up Emo Kid has taken a very long hiatus. It has not updated since I found it and I have been waiting months for a new strip to come out. It would seem that the author is too busy to update which is understandable. Which is the more reason to start reading now and catch up.
It didn't take long to catch up, one good weekend was really enough and yes it was worth it. One bit of warning thou, if you're fat and/or emo I suggest you avoid this webcomic. The Facebook Fan page even warns that this webcomic isn't suitable for anyone. It is outright offensive, which makes me love it even more lol.
The Facebook Fans from what I've seen don't seem to realize that the fan page is about a webcomic. It's full of emos posting emo stuff that has nothing to do with the comic. Obviously, they never read the comic otherwise I highly doubt that they would even "Like" the fan page to begin with.
So again, if your not easily offended, fat, and/or emo, then this webcomic is for you. Thankfully for me, I'm not in any of those categories lol. So check it out and catch up now: http://www.cheerupemokid.net/
