Imagine you're on the platform waiting for your train to arrive. You suddenly see someone down the platform crying. You'd normally just ignore the person. You don't know why but you can't help but to be curious. You hear the train about to come into the station. You finally reach the person. When the person turns around... the person looks EXACTLY like you. A few seconds later, the person jumps in front of the on coming train committing suicide...
Orphan Black is a new series on BBC about a girl named Sarah who had just went through that exact experience. Sarah then assumes the suicide victims identity in an attempt to clean out her bank account only to find out that the woman she's impersonating is actually a cop. To make things more complicated, Sarah soon finds out that they're are more people who look exactly like her. Some one has been making clones and is now killing them off.
That's the basic plot of the series. I'm not going to give out any more spoilers. I originally had little interest in this show but I decided to watch it since it comes right after Doctor Who. I'm glad I gave it a chance. This show gets crazier by every passing episode drawing you in even more. If you haven't seen it yet then I highly recommend you do. The show runs on BBC America at 9P.M. for an hour. It's also On Demand depending on your cable provider so you can catch up.
