It was lower budget but no computers back then. More believable, like, you could be the average dentist guy and this nut gets you involved. Script was more connected and as it happens. Peter Falk (RIP 2011) was one of the most diversified actors ever...here he does comedy with impeccable timing, and Arkin's reactionary character is also hysterical. Understandit was a different time and decade, all stunts and no computer gimmicks, so you have to have the right frame of mind. People jammed the theaters to see this by word of mouth at the time and it became the comedy hit of the summer.Mr. T.noreply@blogger.com
